Reflection on First Lesson

I feel that my first lesson could of went a lot better.  My partner and I were not as prepared as we should of been.  I completely understand the time and patience that goes into teaching.  I thought I would be able just to wing it and that the students would listen to me.  It was a great reality check and I am excited to have another opportunity to teach again.

Revised and Finished Glog

Since it was my first time ever using Glogster, I ran into some problems adding the finishing touches to my poster.  Now that I am finished, i can appreciate the website more and understand how it could be beneficial to students in my classroom if I could teach some lessons using these tactics.

First Glog!

http://colaneria.edu.glogster.com/little-engine-that-could/

This is my first time using a Glog, so I am a little nervous about how it came out.  Next time I want to figure out how to do animation! Think it would make it so much better

Day 2, Glog

http://colaneria.edu.glogster.com/little-engine-that-could/

This is the beginning of my Glog.  This was my first time ever creating a Glog, so I did find some difficulty doing this assignment.  Good thing I have over the weekend to finish the project and to learn more about creating a Glog.  Over the weekend I want to figure out how to add animation to my project because I feel that it would bring a certain pop to the poster.  By creating this Glog, I am beginning to understand how this will be able to be used positively in my class and how my students will be able to benefit from this.

Pre Blog, Day 2

Last class, I learned about this Blogger site and how to create posts.  We also started working on our projects and my group created a wordle about, "The Little Engine That Could".  I am excited for the class to learn more and become better with created my blogs and also to create a glog.

End of Day 1

Class was very confusing today, but in the end, my partner and I got the job done.  Even though we argued and ran into some problems, we were able to focus on the task at hand.  These computers are the worst though!  They are so touch sensitive that I keep messing up all the sentences I am typing.  Thank God I will be getting my MacBook soon.  Anyway, I think I need to play around with my Blog so that I can finally get used to it.  It doenst seem that bad, just annoys we that I was unable to figure it out right away.  I remember when I was younger, I was always able to fiugure out these websites and social media sites, now I look at the comnputer like it has three heads.  Guess it is just a reality check about how I am getting older and  not around sites like this.  Dr. Luongo keeps yelling at us to keep writing, but I am starting to run out of things to say.  She is a great professor though and I enjoy the class.  Good thing or else I would be having some problems.  I was nervous when I came to SPC cause I took a year off and transfered from MSU, so I didnt know how I would handle the new atmosphere.
